Northline

Redrawing how a 40-person design org decides things, when nobody could name the current process.

Organisational change 2025

The territory

Decisions were getting made, but nobody agreed on how, so every disagreement replayed the same argument about process instead of substance.

What I did

Mapped the decisions that actually recur, named who holds each one, and wrote the map down where everyone could see it and argue with it.

Where it stands

The map is revised quarterly rather than treated as finished, which is the actual point.

Full process detail, imagery and artefacts are shared with clients directly.
